The GED certificate is widely accepted as meeting secondary school graduation requirements for purposes of employment, promotion, licensing, apprenticeship, and further education.

Students are eligible to complete Independent Learning Courses (ILC) which once completed successfully will allow them the opportunity to receive credits towards their OSSD - Grade 12 Diploma.

Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition is a formal evaluation and accreditation process. Students may obtain credits towards the secondary school diploma (OSSD) for knowledge and skills that they have acquired outside of secondary school.
